Polsia closes $30M Series A with zero employees beyond the founder

Ben Cera announced today that his AI business platform Polsia has closed a $30M Series A at a $250M valuation, with Sound Ventures (Ashton Kutcher) and True Ventures leading the round. (Ben Cera, LinkedIn, May 22, 2026)

The business model. Polsia operates what Cera calls "autonomous businesses": AI agents that run companies with minimal human oversight. Mixergy's interview page describes Polsia as a $50/month product with a 20% revenue share, while the Kevin Rose Show notes describe a platform where a user enters a business idea and agents begin building, marketing, and operating it. (Mixergy, March 2, 2026; The Kevin Rose Show, May 2026)

Growth claims. Cera's May 22 announcement says Polsia is approaching $10M annual run rate, while the earlier Mixergy episode framed the company around $689K generated by the AI-operated business. Those numbers are self-reported and moving quickly, so the useful signal is the shape of the model: one founder, AI agents, and revenue share rather than headcount expansion. The founder. The Kevin Rose Show notes identify Cera as a former CloudKitchens operator and frame his current role as a solo founder pushing Polsia toward highly autonomous company operations. Mixergy similarly describes him as the founder of an AI platform that autonomously builds and operates online businesses. (The Kevin Rose Show, May 2026; Mixergy, March 2, 2026)

Industry response. Josh Elman of Apple posted support on LinkedIn (May 20), calling it "rare to see this level of AI-native execution." Tony Spheris, managing partner at Notable Capital, tweeted validation of the model (May 21). Robert Scoble announced newsletter sponsorship and backing in his Scobleizer newsletter (May 19 edition).

Technical architecture. The platform uses what Cera describes as "AI agent frameworks" for autonomous execution across operational areas. Users interact through a chat interface that Cera calls an "AI co-founder." The system handles business generation, operations, and scaling without human hiring. Verification gaps. Polsia has not published audited financial statements. Revenue figures and user engagement metrics come from founder statements in interviews and social media posts. Customer retention data and churn rates have not been disclosed.
